Goat Companions is a small family owned ranch that breeds Nigerian Dwarf and Miniature Nubian (Mini-Nubian, Mini Nubian) dairy goats.
We spend considerable time with our kids so that they are human friendly and most of these kids go to their forever home when they are just a few months old.
However, we retain a few kids each year so that we can spend additional time training them to walk on a leash, interact with human adults & children & other animals, etc. These kids often find homes with special needs children and their families or adults or become a pet partner with a therapist, counselor, volunteer or other professional that incorporates their little kid into a therapeutic service program.
